For three consecutive Saturdays, Het Bos becomes an epicenter for discovering international young performing artists and influential thinkers. Each Saturday evening revolves around a specific question, explored through a performance, a lecture or statement, and a public discussion.

These evenings aim to provoke broader reflections about art and its role in society. The programming is intentionally “conflictual”, with different presentations potentially clashing in terms of content and perspective. Each evening concludes with a public discussion, offering an opportunity to examine potential connections or conflicts more closely.

Following questions were guiding the different evenings:

Evening 1: Art and public space: what strategies can art use to participate in social debate?

Evening 2: How does the interplay of ideology, technology, and imagery shape our actions? How is this interplay expressed through our bodies and minds?

Evening 3: What role can we attribute to the theater building, as part of the public space? What would it mean to consider the theater as a “negative” space within the overly positive space that surrounds it? How can the theater function as a “negative” space within our society?
